Risk of Burnout in Front-Line Health Care Workers When Combating Covid-19: A Prospective Cross-Sectional Study

Specialist resident education is a level of professional development to improve the qualifications specialist doctors, which tough and stressful process. Medical personnel who treat patients exposed COVID-19 experience burnout. This study was determine risk burnout in anesthesiology residents intensive care as frontline during pandemic era. The research design an observational analytic that cross-sectional towards served Special Isolation Room Dr. Soetomo Surabaya. sample this used total sampling obtained 35 respondents. statistical test multiple linear regression. Each subject given online Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) questionnaire assessment before serving (Pre-RIK), post-assignment (Post-RIK) post Self (Post-ISOMAN). Anesthesiology Intensive Care at prevention Pre-RIK showed 3 people had 9.37% 32 no 90.63%. At Post-RIK there were burnouts (9.37%) (90.63%) without In Post-ISOMAN 1 (2.85%) 34 (97.15%). study, it found receipts 2019 experienced more burnout, compared end year.
